Graduate and Career Day is an annual occasion organized by the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) to celebrate the new graduation of preparatory program classes.  The occasion is an excellent opportunity to introduce these graduates programs, to the private sector and to make it aware of the programs offered by the IPA.  It is also an opportunity for corporations and institutions which seek to employ trained national labor forces to meet their employment need and to contribute to the growth of the numbers of employed Saudis.  Due to the dedication of IPA officials in organizing this annual occasion, the Graduate and Career Day has been very successful and constantly developing over the past years.  Elements of its success and improvement include the IPA award for employers of graduates and other accompanying activities related to the employment of national cadres. 

Currently, Graduate and Career Day is a special occasion in which recruiting officers and human resource officials of national corporations and institutions get to meet IPA graduates and tell them about available opportunities.  Out of its desire to establish a partnership with the private sector, the IPA has allocated a special budget to finance Graduate and Career Day, and sponsors an accompany­ing exhibition that allows partnership with as many as possible of those national corporations and institutions that are interested in supporting IPA programs and employ preparatory program graduates. 

The 15th Graduate and Career Day is scheduled for Sunday, May 22, 2011.
