Public Administration Journal:

Since 1383H., IPA has been issuing a quarterly refereed journal en-titled “Public Administration“. Since 1383H., one or two issues of the journal have been annually published. Then, four issues of the journal have been annually published since 1401H. with the exception of a few years during which three issues of the journal have been published. The number of the journal’s issues until the end of 1429H. reached 140. The refereed journal is concerned with dissminating the management thought as well as research, studies and articles in the field of administrative sciences in a way that serves the development issues in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. The journal is arbitrated by professors in the Kingdom and abroad. The journal is interested in the participation of writers and researchers from the Kingdom and abroad, whether their participation was in the form of articles, research, studies or summaries of theses whose publishing date does not exceed three years.

The Journal Editorial Board consists of a number of the IPA training staff who are specialized in the field of administrative sciences and other related fields. The board is formed by a decision of the IPA Director General. The jurisdictions of the Journal Editorial Board are as follows:

Reviewing the academic research, studies and articles; and de-termining their suitability for refereeing.

Evaluating and presenting books and summaries of theses before publication.

Reviewing the academic materials after being evaluated in order to make sure that they satisfy the observations made by arbi-trators and that they are suitable for publication.

Determining the amount of rewards for each article accepted for publication.

The journal editorial supervisor considers the publication of read-ers` discussions and comments. He may seek assistance of the board members.

Discussing the development of the journal in​ terms of topics and chapters.

There is a set of rules that are taken into account when considering the publication of academic works submitted to the journal, namely:

The work shall be closely related to administration and develop-ment fields, particularly with regard to aspects of applied sciences.

The work shall be original and add to the administrative culture.

The work shall be objective and follow the scientific methods of research.

The work shall be written in sound Arabic language.
