Research:
The
Research
Center
provides
the
appropriate
environment
to
activate
academic
research
at
the
IPA, and conducts
applied
studies
in
the
field
of
analyzing
and
addressing
management
problems
in
government
and
private
sectors. Also, the
Research
Center
disseminates
contemporary
management
thought
at
Arab
and
international
levels
by
conducting
field
research, writing books
and
translating
modern
administrative thought and
theories
to
the
Arabic
language
which, in turn, has
contributed
to
achieving
the
objectives
of
administrative development as
well
as
solving
related
problems. In order to
achieve
these
objectives, the center
counts
administrative problems, collects
all
related
data
and
information
and
holds
conferences
and
seminars
to
address
such
problems. The center
also
provides
all
facilities
and
substantive
and
technical
consultation
to
support
academic
research
activities. Moreover,
the
center
provides
the
Internet
service
and
halls
technically
equipped
in
addition
to
informational, statistical
and
library
services
which
help
to
complete
academic
works
and
overcome
the
obstacles
before
implementation. The center
encourages
and
stimulates
the
preparation
of
academic
works
according
to
the
topics
of
research
and
administrative studies proposed
by
the
center
or
made
by
researchers. For the
purpose
of
supporting
research
activities, the center
allocates
rewards
paid
in
accordance
with
the
academic
evaluation
as
well
as
the
regulations
and
rules
governing
the
activities
of
the
center.
Refereeing academic works
started
at
the
IPA
at
a
low
profile
level. The academic
works
were
presented
to
specialists
whose
opinion
on
their
suitability
for
publication
was
taken
into
consideration. There
was
no
reward
regulation
that
determines
the
amount
awarded
for
academic
work. The financial
reward
was
determined
and
approved
by
the
IPA
Director
General. In 1405H.,
the
IPA
issued
two
regulations
for
the
activities
and
rewards
of
academic
research, namely:
